Free E-mail.

From here you can sign up for free, private, permanent, Web-based e-mail on the factscanada.com domain. It's easy to sign up, and the service is much faster than some other supposedly hot mail services out there. You even get more storage space than the other guys give you -- a whopping 6 MB! Best of all, you'll have the coolest Canadian e-mail address on the 'Net.

  • the ability to send and receive e-mail using your preferred e-mail program, including Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape, or any other POP3-compliant program (which means just about anything you've ever heard of out there),

We hate spam just as much as you do, if not more. Our service includes the ability to block spam from known sources. If, however, you receive spam that appears to come from someone @factscanada.ca or @factscanada.com, please send the entire message, including the full headers, to the NinerNet Communications Anti-Spam Team through the usual factscanada.com abuse alias or through the abuse contact form. Thanks very much.

Please note the difference between the factscanada.ca and factscanada.com domains. Both domains point to this Web site, but only the factscanada.ca domain is used for official FactsCanada.ca e-mail (such as the newsletters or any official correspondence to confirm subscriptions and contest winners). Any e-mail addresses you see on the factscanada.com domain are free e-mail addresses, and the users of the addresses are not officially associated with FactsCanada.ca. There are a few exceptions, such as the "webmaster" alias which goes to the FactsCanada.ca webmaster no matter which domain you use in the e-mail address.
